A Los Angeles woman is pleading for justice as her husband fights for his life after being brutally attacked at a Los Angeles Dodgers baseball game. The father of four, Rafael Reyna, suffered a skull fracture and is on life support after someone assaulted him in the parking lot of the Dodger Stadium early Saturday morning.
Police have said the attack stemmed from a “verbal dispute,” which they believe was motivated due to opposing teams. Reyna was reportedly punched once and fell to the ground, severely injuring his head.
The victim’s wife, Christel, heard the entire altercation unfold over the phone.
“I was hearing the arguing happening and then I heard like a smack, a crack,” she explained. “It sounded like a baseball bat, and then I heard him start moaning.”

Reyna was on FaceTime with his wife, when someone started cursing at him. The 47-year-old baseball fan reportedly got into an argument with someone as he walked to his car, following the Dodger’s second game of the season.
No arrests have been made, and no suspect descriptions were immediately available as no witnesses have come forward. Dodger Stadium security and the Los Angeles Police Department are working together to identify and locate the suspect or suspects, who they believe fled in a white SUV. Authorities also said the incident has been labeled an assault, and is no longer considered an altercation.
The family has set up a GoFundMe page to help cover the cost of medical expenses with a goal of $10,000.
