Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said his country may soon name a new community in the Golan Heights region after President Trump. He confirmed the move in a video posted to Twitter Tuesday, while visiting the region with his family.

This comes after the president made the unprecedented move of recognizing Israeli sovereignty over the region in late March. The prime minister said the move sent a strong message that the U.S. will always stand with Israel.
Netanyahu said he plans to bring the proposal before the Israeli government very soon.
