(Reuters) – U.S. drugmaker Pfizer Inc reported a 9 percent rise in quarterly profit on Tuesday, helped by sales of breast cancer drug Ibrance and pneumonia vaccine Prevnar.
The company said net income rose to $3.88 billion, or 68 cents per share, in the first quarter, from $3.56 billion, or 59 cents per share, a year earlier.
Revenue rose to $13.12 billion from $12.91 billion last year.
